BARE DECK DESIGN TOOLS

BARE DECK ANALYSIS

ROOF DECK DESIGN TOOL

This comprehensive bare deck analysis tool includes uniform load, diaphragm strength and stiffness, web crippling, construction span and roving load analysis

BARE DECK WALL ANCHORAGE

ROOF DECK DESIGN TOOL

Design bare deck to resist the wall anchorage forces from combined seismic, wind, and gravity loading based on the combined axial and bending strength.

COMPOSITE DECK DESIGN TOOLS

FLOOR WIZARD

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

Discover an efficient floor system by comparing joist type and spacing, deck profile, concrete topping, beam options, and fire-rated assemblies based on your project’s span, floor-to-floor height, design loads, vibration criteria, ductwork requirements, and hourly fire rating.

COMPOSITE DECK-SLAB ANALYSIS

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

A complete platform for deck slab design — covering superimposed loads, concentrated loads, diaphragm capacity, multi-span checks, and vibration performance, all with printable engineering reports.

STC-IIC ACOUSTIC ANALYSIS

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

Based on over 100 acoustic tests, this tool accurately predicts STC and IIC ratings for any combination of flooring, structural deck-slab, and ceiling treatment.

UNSHORED CONSTRUCTION SPAN

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

Calculate maximum unshored construction spans for thick slabs based on your design criteria.

SPANNING POUR STOP PER SDI

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

Use Steel Deck Institute Technical Note No. 3 to select a spanning pour stop.

UL LOOKUP AID FOR FLOOR SYSTEMS

FLOOR DECK DESIGN TOOL

Find the UL fire assembly that meets your project needs by filtering deck profile, hourly rating, and fire protection method.

HANGING SOLUTIONS DESIGN TOOLS

PINTAIL ANCHOR DESIGN TOOL

HANGING SOLUTION TOOL

Enhance efficiency in hanging and bracing scenarios by optimizing assembly capacity and specifying maximum allowable tension strength.

LEGACY DESIGN TOOLS

Older tools that have been made obsolete by code changes or superseded by more advanced tools. Available only for historical analysis purposes.

LEGACY - BARE DECK DIAPHRAGM

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate the bare deck diaphragm shear and stiffness for your configuration based on AISI S310 and IAPMO reports.

LEGACY - BARE DECK UNIFORM LOAD

RETIRED TOOL

Determine the uniform gravity and wind-uplift loads for your bare deck configurations.

LEGACY - BARE DECK CONCENTRATED LOAD

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate the concentrated roving load that may be applied to any rib of the selected roof deck, in addition to the defined uniform loads.

LEGACY - BARE DECK WEB CRIPPLING

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate one flange and two flange web crippling loads based on bearing length.

LEGACY - DECK-SLAB DIAPHRAGM PER AISI S310-16

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate maximum unshored construction spans for thick slabs based on your design criteria.

LEGACY - DECK-SLAB DIAPHRAGM

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate diaphragm strengths and stiffness for deck-slabs with plain concrete, Bekaert Dramix steel fibers, WWR or rebar.

LEGACY - COMPOSITE DECK-SLAB SUPERIMPOSED LOAD

RETIRED TOOL

Calculate composite deck-slab strength and maximum unshored span tables for your composite deck configurations.
